Services & Programs
The Ralls County Health Department offers a variety of affordable health services, screenings, education, and community resources. Many services are provided at a reduced cost, and some are available at no charge. Please contact our office for current fees, eligibility requirements, and service availability.


 Immunizations 
Childhood immunizations are available for uninsured, underinsured, and Medicaid-eligible children. Some adult vaccines may also be available.

Health Screenings & Services
A variety of walk-in services are available. Services may be provided at a reduced cost or at no charge and are subject to availability.

Services include, but are not limited to:
  • Blood glucose (blood sugar) screening
  • Cholesterol screening
  • Hemoglobin (iron) testing
  • Blood pressure checks
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Lead testing
  • STD/STI testing
  • Hepatitis C testing
  • HeartSaver CPR & First Aid
  • AED training
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers
  • Notary Services
  • Car seat safety education
  • Safe Cribs education and resources
  • Free Diapers
  • Free Library

Some services require a physician's order. These may include:
  • Blood and laboratory draws
  • PT/INR testing
  • Nail care

Health Education & Counseling
Health education and counseling are available on a variety of topics to help individuals and families make informed decisions about their health.

Topics may include:
  • Diabetes
  • Tuberculosis (TB) and communicable diseases
  • Testing and screening
  • Nutrition
  • Other health and wellness topics

Birth & Death Certificates
Certified copies of Missouri birth certificates for individuals born after 1920 and Missouri death certificates for individuals who died after 1980 may be obtained through our office.

Applicants must:
  • Be an eligible direct relative or otherwise meet state eligibility requirements
  • Provide a valid photo ID
  • Complete the appropriate application
  • Pay the required fee

Durable Medical Equipment Lending
The Ralls County Health Department may have durable medical equipment available for temporary use in the community.

Available equipment may include:
  • Walkers
  • Crutches
  • Wheelchairs (when available)
  • Bedside commodes
  • Shower chairs
  • Toilet risers
  • Reachers
  • Other durable medical equipment
Equipment availability is limited and subject to change. Please contact our office to inquire about current availability and lending requirements.
